Our Impact

The team at Sandra Grace is working to create the conditions that fundamentally shift and transform the talent development ecosystem to one that produces racially equitable outcomes. In order to do this we are working on shifting People, Practices and Policies.

impacting people

We work with your organization to create and implement changes in thinking, behaviors/actions and language that are anti-racist and intentionally examine and seek to undo the system of racism and the ideology of white supremacy embedded within the talent development ecosystem.

Impacting practices

We work with your organization to create and implement changes in practices (within organizations, institutions and workplaces) that are explicitly anti-racist and center communities who are racialized and historically marginalized.

Impacting pOLICIES

We work with your organization to create and implement changes in organizational policies (little p) and legislative policies (big P) that are explicitly anti-racist and center communities who are racialized and historically marginalized.

At Sandra Grace, we are working to impact the entire talent development ecosystem. Our goal is to ensure that every actor and stakeholder in each of the sectors connected to the talent development ecosystem are equipped to practically apply a racial equity lens to their sector.

what our partners are saying about us

Clair is a powerful, thought provoking and transformative speaker. When we invited Clair to keynote our conference, she set the tone, charging the audience with the task of contemplating, and reflecting on how they show up in this work for historically marginalized communities. She challenges people with examining themselves, their work, and the systems that we live in and provides concrete steps on how to move forward in one’s equity journey in both personal and professional spaces. Clair is authentic in her delivery - a breath of fresh air – and masterful at effectively discussing and breaking down the intersections of equity and workforce systems. She intentionally approaches these conversations with compassion and care, which is shown through her inspiring delivery. Clair is overall a delight to work with and an ideal co-conspirator in the fight for equity in our workforce systems.”

- Michael Richardson, Director of Worker and Student Voice, National Skills Coalition

“Clair Minson is immensely talented and a joy to work with. She and her team bring a unique mix of expertise - both as thought leaders and detail-oriented implementers - and approach their work with thoughtfulness, thoroughness, creativity and efficiency. We were so impressed not only with the ultimate deliverable Clair and her team produced, but also with their entire methodical and collaborative process along the way. Clair’s structuring and facilitating of complex conversations with diverse groups of stakeholders is masterful. We look forward to working with Clair and her team again!”

- Sasha Beder-Schenker, What Works Plus Project Director at Freedman Consulting, LLC

"Clair's speaking engagements, whether in person keynotes or virtual presentations, have a transformative effect. She is able to breakdown complex workforce development and higher education policies and practices to compel the audience to understand the present and reimagine what's possible for the future. Clair has a gift at illuminating how historical, institutional, interpersonal, and individual actions and systems interact to perpetuate racial and economic inequities in the workforce development ecosystem. Equally, she illustrates how our individual and collective actions can disrupt the status quo and create more just and equitable systems that benefit students and workers. All of this is expertly contextualized, based on place and audience. Balancing poetry and pragmatism, Clair's thought-provoking keynotes and presentations leave an audience inspired, motivated, and with tactical tools to do the work that is needed in our nation, states, and communities."
